Exclusive - 7 Important Signs To Know If You're Pregnant. READ HERE!

Regardless of our status in life and standpoint on having children, it is important to understand the different changes in our body that might indicate pregnancy. Here are the 7 early symptoms that can determine whether you're pregnant or not according to Karen Nordahl, a general practitioner and obstetrician in Vancouver and co-author of Fit to Deliver.

1) Missed Period
This is the most obvious one. But for first-time moms, this doesn't always signify pregnancy as hormonal imbalances can also lead to this one. Make sure to keep track of your periods.

2) Fullness
Feeling unusually 'full' all the time can be a sign of pregnancy. Though first-time moms may miss this feeling, “A second- or third-time mom may pick up on it right away, especially if she is actively trying to conceive.” according to Nordahl.

3) Lower Pelvic Cramping
Hormonal Shifts and of course, the implantation of the fertilized egg on the uterine lining can cause pelvic cramping. Although these are light and occasional cramps, these cramps are different from physical exhaustion. Know the difference.

4) Bloating
Although women experience this as part of the monthly premenstrual symptoms, this can be a sign that you're expecting. Just stay hydrated and take it easy on salty food.

5) Heartburn
Burning sensation in the chest might be frequent and gets worse when bending over and lying down is a sign of pregnancy. Heartburn, which is usually caused by coffee or other acidic food, can be because of the digestive changes brought about by pregnancy.

6) Sore Breasts
Breasts expands in preparation for producing milk thus they become sore during early pregnancy.

7) Increased gas
Well, Moms know this very well. Unruly gas would start taking its toll on you not just on the early stages but all throughout the nine months.
