Many overseas Filipino workers have tried their luck in almost every part of the world. Some were able to succeed and has found greener pastures while some chooses to go back in the Philippines. Recently, an OFW success story has been circulating in the social media after he managed to join the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Police Force.
44-Year-Old Johnray Cerna who hails from Zamboanga, City and finished college at Mindanao Sulu State University with a degree in. Business, has been in the service for 4 years. He has been in UAE since the year of 2006 and worked his way up.
Before UAE, he also worked in the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) from 1990 to 2000. He also became a salesman and a travel agency manager before finding his luck at UAE.
As Shorta-Awal or UAE police, he is able to read, write and speak Arabic fluently. This has been one of his major qualification.
He is now currently living in Ajman, one of the major 7 emirates of UAE in the northern part.
