Exclusive - 'May Araw Din Kayo!' Says De Lima to Critics Who Fabricated Evidence Against Her

Sen. Leila De Lima faces another controversy following her eviction as the chairperson of the Senate committee on Justice. This is after Sen. Manny Pacquiao initiated the move to oust the members of the committee to improve the inquiry on extrajudicial killings. She was replaced by Sen. Dick Gordon but she was still voted to be part of the committee.

However, her misfortunes don't end there as she now faces other allegations as Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre presented 6 convicts witnesses who testified of De Lima's link to the illegal drug trade inside the New Bilibid's Prison.

But De Lima maintained her tough stance when she delivered her privilege speech today, September 20, expressing how she feels sorry for the witnesses who were 'blackmailed and tortured' to testify against her.

According to her, a credible source told her that inmates were taken by Special Action Force overnight interrogation sessions in an effort to fabricate testimony.

"Prisoners are being selected and isolated just to be intimated into implicating me and to fit the President's narrative that I am a drug lord coddle, aside from being the most evil woman in the planet," she said.

Meanwhile, the House of Representatives are now investigating the alleged illegal drug trade inside NBP.
