In Cagayan De Oro, a 71-Year-Old grandfather is now under the custody of Cagayan De Oro Police Station 2 after he was accused of raping his 3-year-old granddaughter in Barangay Camaman-an.
“Nena” – not her real name – mentioned that her parents left her with her Grandfather Menisio (surname withheld) because of their job.
However, a witness saw Menisio sticking his finger inside Nena's private parts.
Menisio is still denying the incident to the authorities.
Another witness mentioned a similar incident when the granddaughter had a cough which prompted Menion to massage her. However, the owner of the house suspected that Menisio is doing something strange as the windows were slightly closed.
The case has been lifted to the desk of the Women and Child Protection of the Police Station 2.
