Ryza Cenon was asked about one of her “sensitive” scenes in her movie “Ang Manananggal sa Unit 23B”, which is set to be an entry in the 2016 QCinema International Film Festival. The festival will run until October 22 at Gateway, Robinsons Galleria, Trinoma, and UP Town Center.
Ryza was asked about how she felt while watching her intimate scene which is one of the highlights of the movie.
"Napapatakip ako ng mata!" the Ultimate Female Survivor of GMA’s StarStruck Season 2 said in an interview with the press.
Ryza shared the details of how she became emotionally attached to the scene as she recalled her experiences while performing the scene.
"Nakakaiyak for me kasi alam mo yung pinagdaanan and everything. Ramdam na ramdam mo yung eksena kasi alam mo yung pinagdaanan." she added.
According to PEP, Cenon did not plan on getting the lead role, as she initially auditioned for the role of a supporting character in the movie. However, when she was asked to read some of the main character’s lines she impressed the movie staff. Eventually, Cenon was given the main role.
Together with Ryza Cenon, leading man Martin del Rosario and actor Cholo Barretto also starred in the movie directed by Prime Cruz.
When asked if she was going to do a sexy movie again, Cenon said that it will depend on the material. In addition, she also said that she still wanted to explore different characters so people would not think that she can only do “sexy movies”.
“"Gusto ko mag-explore pa rin ng iba't ibang klaseng characters. Para hindi lang sabihin na ito lang ang kaya kong gawin. May iba pa akong kayang gawin na hindi kailangan mag-sexy ako” the 28-year old actress said.
She will also be a part of the Metro Manila Film Festival 2016 official entry Enteng Kabisote 10 and The Abangers.
