President Rodrigo Duterte said that he wants to meet with President Vladimir Putin after declaring the end of the military and economic ties with the United States. Duterte said this on the Trade and Investment Forum which was attended by Chinese officials and business leaders.

Duterte then said that he wants to open economic ties with China and Russia.

“I realign myself in your ideological flow and maybe I will also go to Russia to talk to Putin. There are three of us against the world. China, Philippines, Russia," President Duterte mentioned.

His state visit to China has resulted to the signing of the $13.5 Billion worth of investments.

Duterte also said that he wanted to hold the war games with the two countries after he declared the end of joint military exercises with the US Army.
