Exclusive - 'We Must Start To Clean Our Own Backyard Before We Bully Another Country'-American National To His Fellow Americans In His Open Letter


Not only all Filipinos appreciate the progress Duterte’s administration is making within the country. It already transcended the eyes of many nationalities including the Americans. One of which is Steve Rogers who wrote an open letter addressed to his fellow Americans expressing his administration and adoration of the ongoing actions done by President Duterte for the Philippines.

Rogers started his letter narrating how their lives were once endangered because of the prevalent drugs and criminality in the country. He thanked Duterte for saving their lives through the implementation of the current programs against drugs.

In addition, Rogers also explained what is behind the extrajudicial killings that has been the content of the daily news for the past few months. 

In connection to this, Rogers also encouraged people especially his fellow Americans to witness what is really happening in the country.

Rogers also suggested that Americans should consider clearing themselves out of their problems first before criticizing another country.

“As Americans, we must start to clean up the messes in our own backyard before we think if bullying another country” the American national wedded to a Filipina said.

From the general war against drugs, Rogers also went on to the specific ordinances Duterte already implemented including the 10pm videoke/karaoke ban.

Rogers emphasized Duterte’s ability of making the Philippines clean the way it deserves to.
Rogers ended his letter by mentioning some of the country’s assets, skills and talents. 

“Now the Philippines is becoming great and peaceful country. Thanks to Mayor/Presdient Duterte.” said the American born.
