A miracle unfolded in front of Dr. Drolah Sanchez after a baby who was born dead came back to life.
Sanchez told Rated K that what happened had no "medically unexplainable" reasons to back it up. She said the baby did not show any signs of life when she was born because of the complications she had when she was in her mother's womb for 42 weeks.
"Normally, alam nating hindi possible 'yan kasi from the start naman, inilabas nating patay 'yung bata. Hindi naman nating inilabas na buhay, na may kaunting signs. Ito talagang wala,” she said.
Sanchez still tried to revive the dead baby while praying to Mother Teresa for the baby so that she may be given a chance to live.
In a stroke of luck, the baby came back to life and started to breathe on her own after 25 minutes.
"Kung mababasa niyo 'yung pinost ko sa social media, sabi ko dinadala tayo ng Diyos kung para saan tayo. Huwag na tayo magtanong. Isang reason siguro, kung hindi ako nadala sa Lobo Hospital at hindi ako 'yung doktor na nandoon, baka hindi nabuhay 'yung bata," she said.
“Para sa akin, itong mag-inang ito 'yung milagrong nangyari sa akin kasi pinakita nila sa akin not to give up, na lahat ng miracle nandito lang sa tabi natin basta kailangan lang natin ng faith."
The baby's mother named her Maria Teresa after the incident.
