Exclusive - Janice de Belen’s Newly Renovated Home Will Surely Leave You In Awe!

In 2014, Janice de Belen and her family moved into their newly renovated art-centric house. With the help of architects/interior designers Deng Gepanaga, Arlene Andres and Dong Caritativo, Janice was able to express herself in the overhauling of their home.

Here are the changes she made to her house:

Front door

- The front door is nature-inspired adorned with elements of plants and woods.

Foyer

- Janice chose to be less traditional by foregoing windows in favour of a foyer, which enables the guests and owners to view the garden outside.

Main entrance

- A wooden door at the main entrance of the house gives off a warm, welcoming feeling as you enter. 

Living area

- This area is dedicated inspired by simplicity and openness. The actress wanted to preserve its space so she adorned her living area with simple artwork she had been collecting. A big couch and coffee table are also present.

Dining area

- Her dining area has a dining table that can seat 8 people and a corner with a chalkboard where they freely write their notes. Behind the dining table is a secret storage room where Janice keeps her Fine China and a pantry.

Storage details

- Janice installed a customized shelving system which holds her small appliances such as blenders, juicers and steamers.

Kitchen

- Because of Janice and her family’s love for cooking, her kitchen is designed to resemble restaurants and cooking shows. Janice chose to use stainless steel countertops because they are easier to clean and maintain. 

Staircase

- Her staircase is full of paintings made by Pedro Garcia.

Workspace

- This is Janice’s special place. The very-well organized area located on their second floor is full of paintings from different artists and her magnet collection. It is also full of books, arts and crafts supplies and her giraffe collection.

Bedroom

- The bedroom is simple and neat with only a single bed and storage space for clothes, shoes and her other belongings.

Bathroom

- Her bathroom is very simple as well. It has a bathtub and a shower area. Janice wanted to express transparency by having a glass partition divide the bathroom from her bedroom.

Yuan’s bedroom

- Janice’s only son enjoys a bedroom with different storage options for his toys and collectibles.

Veranda

- Access to this area is from the living room. The actress decided to make it a dining area.

This house, full of artistic expression, was once featured in Kris TV, an ABS-CBN morning talk show.
