The Queen of All Media Kris Aquino personally shrugged off the idea of a possible comeback to ABS-CBN, which has been a home for her celebrity career for 20 years.
On Thursday, November 15, Kris confirmed in her Instagram post that the Kapamilya network “no longer wants [her]”.
It stemmed from a comment of a netizen in one of her Instagram photo with Kris TV headwriter Darla Sauler.
Kris then replied:
Since the May 2016 elections, Kris was not seen on TV as she took a break after her contract with ABS-CBN expired last March 2016. On September 12, Kris then announced in her Instagram account that she has signed a contract with APT Entertainment, leaving the Kapamilya network.
Kris admitted in a press-conference that she had overestimated her worth and failed to sign a fair, easy, two-page contract with ABS-CBN .
Meanwhile, the Kapamilya network said in their official statement that the Queen of All Media “will always be a Kapamilya”.
