President Rodrigo Duterte has been the talk of local and international communities for his anti-drugs and corruption campaign. His unorthodox means of delivering his 6-month promise has garnered much controversy, with thousands of extrajudicial killings taking a lot of media attention.
With President Duterte’s radical changes in the country in mind, a Filipino took to the internet his comedic way of commending the President. Klarisse Casio posted a photo of her passport with the caption, “DUTERTE RESIGN!”
She then shared her experience with the Department of Foreign Affairs services of getting a passport which only took her 2 weeks to get, compared to the 6 months of the previous administration.
“Dahil kay duterte nakuha ko na ang passport ko within 2 weeks . dati 6 months bago nakuha ng kakilala ko. nakaka buwisit talaga . inalis niya kung saan tayo nasanay na makupad at palpak . ganun din sa NBI ko nakuha ko agad sa loob ng isang oras . ibalik ang hepatitis ng bayan!” she said.
People were amused by her satirical way of praising the Duterte administration, posting all sorts of reactions to it and has gone rounds on Facebook with all the shares it has accumulated.
