Tawag ng Tanghalan contestants Sam Mangubat and Clark Serafin received scathing critiques of their performances last November 22, 2016 from Music Icon Rey Valera.

Mangubat performed the song “All or Nothing” by O-Town and Serafin sang “Nanghihinayang” by Jeremiah.

Before announcing his verdict, Judge Rey Valera expressed his disappointment in the contestants’ performances, even going so far as to call them “palpak”.
