Exclusive - Till I Met You Show Runners To Appear In Hearing Before The MTRCB Regarding James Reid And Nadine Lustre’s 'Steamy Love Scene'

The Movie & Television Review & Classification Board (MTRCB) summoned the show runners of popular teleserye “Till I Met You” for a hearing regarding the “steamy love scene” between James Reid and Nadine Lustre. The show runners, namely Antoinette Jadaone and Andoy Ranay (directors), Arnel Nacario (executive producer), and Shugo Praico (writer) are expected to attend a hearing on November 10.

The real-life couple portray husband and wife Basti and Iris on the show. The scene in question was filmed inside a car and garnered a lot of mainstream attention for its raunchiness. 

The show also received complaints for its October 27 and 28 episodes, which contained scenes wherein James and Nadine were together in a bath tub. The show gained flak for its portrayal of suggestive themes despite its meager Parental Guidance rating.

According to the letter addressed to the show runners, the MTRCB considers “'PG' and 'SPG' ratings [to] still admit the reality of having young audiences, the Board shall expect you to present your side at the said conference which shall be before a Committee particularly designated for the matter."
