Exclusive - Watch: Drone Footage Captures Yolanda Housing Units Still Incomplete 3years After The Tragedy!

Super Typhoon Yolanda's victims will soon commemorate the tragedy that claimed thousands of lives and destroyed countless homes three years ago on November 8, 2013.

The government promised to build new houses for the Tacloban City residents who were affected by typhoon Yolanda. However, video footage taken by a UNTV drone shows that most of those houses are still incomplete.

A recent report from the National Housing Authority (NHA) reports that there are 12,600 housing units ready to be occupied. Only 2,000 families have been able to move into these permanent housing units.

In Richview Park 1 and 2, where 2,000 units were supposed to be built, only 989 families have been housed.

There are still 200 families waiting to be relocated to these permanent housing units, according to the local government.
