[Amazing] 25 Most Annoying Songs In The World
The internet is full of some of the most annoying songs ever penned but it’s not its fault. The internet is a wonderful invention. Never before have we been able to share things – photos, videos, opinions that are less than 140 characters – with so many people around the globe. As an added bonus, we can also share music and music videos. And we bet you know someone, right now, who needs an annoying song stuck in their head all day. So here’s 25 of the most annoying songs in the world. Share as you will.
Believe (1998) - Cher . Playing this song on repeat for weeks was the final straw for convincing Buffy her college roommate was really a demon in season 4. She wasn't wrong. It's also famous for being the first case of over tuned auto tune.

It's A Small World After All (1966) - Robert and Richard Sherman for Disneyland. The chords of the song loop on themselves with a slightly altered melody. It's designed as a brainworm.

You're Beautiful (2005) - James Blunt. When even the artists admits a song is annoying, well, who are we to argue?

Macarena (1995) - Los Del Rio. We all know the words, many of us don't understand the words. But anyone born before 1988 is picturing the dance in their head right now. Heeeeeeeeeeeeeey Macarena! (psst, it was remade in 2016. Still the same song basically).

Barbie Girl ( 1997 ) - Aqua. Catchy, weird, and innuendo filled, this euro dance tune about everyone's favorite blonde actually caused a lawsuit between Mattel and the bands record label, alleging that referring to Barbie as a "blonde bimbo" turned her into a sex object. Not only was the suit dismissed, Mattel later went on to use the song in it's promotional campaigns.

Crazy Frog (2005) - Axel F. You can't listen to this song all the way through while sober without cringing. We dare you.

Whip My Hair (2010) - Willow Smith. When Will Smith's daughter released her first single, fans of her father had high hopes. But, uh...sometimes the apple rolls away from the tree a little bit.

It's Peanut Butter Jelly Time (1997) - Buckwheat Boyz. Pretty sure this song was intended to sound annoying, but then the website Albino Black Sheep made a flash video with a dancing banana, and it also looked annoying. Hm.

Friday (2011) - Rebecca Black. The jury is still out on weather this was an actual attempt to create a pop song, or the most epic trolling of society ever. Either way, you gotta give Black props, because after that disaster, she's released a single in 2016 called "The Great Divide" and if you're into pop music, it's a solid entry into the genre. You go Rebecca Black!

My Humps (2005) - The Black Eyed Peas. Preeeeety sure if BEP released a song with the lyrics "My humps, My lovely lady lumps!" in 2016 there would be a social meltdown. It was still cringe worthy and obnoxious in 2005 though.

I Love You (The Barney Song, 1992) - Barney The Purple Dinosaur. While the lyrics to this song are lovely and sweet, "The Barney Song" was perhaps the first modern instance of child specific music that made moms everywhere want to bang their head against the wall. It didn't help that Barney constantly sounded like he needed to blow his nose.

Gold (2016) Kiiara. There are few pop songs that make you cringe the first time you hear them. Usually they build up to it, slowly, because it's overplayed on the radio or you have that friend who's really really into it and then one day you find yourself grinding your teeth when you hear the chorus at Target. NOT SO with 2016's gold. The "hook" to the song is a weirdly mix over processed possibly parts backwards bit of the chorus. You can't even sing it live. Pentatonix makes a good effort in their cover, but then again their cover is better than the original song. It also doesn't help that the entirety of "Gold" is basically held together by reverb.

Kiss Kiss(200) - Holly Valance. This is actually a remake of a Turkish pop song, so you have Turkish sounding music combined with an "edgy white girl" lyrics and vibe, and the hook of the song is....kissy noises?

Copacabana (1978) - Barry Manilo. We have this weird thing where we think everything old, or made by a very talented artist is good. It's not. This song kind of proves it.

We Like To Party (1998) - Vengaboys. Every 90s' kid knows this song, and perhaps remembers it fondly. Go listen to it again, and remember, when your grandchildren look up music from around the turn of the century, they'll find this (and it will be an accurate representation).

Thats Not My Name (2008) - The Ting Tings. SHE NEVER SAYS WHAT HER NAME ACTUALLY IS. The entire song gets absolutely stuck in your head in a way that you'll be randomly making a peanut butter sandwich two weeks later and not even realize you're humming it, but the entire premise of the song is that she's annoyed that they forgot her name. She never tells us her name. Maybe we'd remember if you told us.

Mahna Mahna - The Muppets. If you've heard this song before, it's stuck in your head already, even if you haven't listened to it. Doo Doo de do do.

Harlem Shake (2012) - Baauer. Do we need to explain this one, really? Also it may have officially started the "weird and horrific noise over sampling as music" trend over again. So, thanks for that.

Who Let The Dogs Out (2000) - Baha Men. It's both annoying and offensive. There are literally grown men barking and yelling, in a song asking who let ugly women into the party. And we played it everywhere, all the time. Children sang this, the youtube video has over 20 million views. The real question is who let these people in to a recording studio....

The Thong Song (2000) - Sisquo. You know what rhymes with thong? Thong. The hook is literally "That thong thong thong thong thong". Brilliant.

Dragostea Din Tei (2003) - O-Zone. Also affectionately know to internet nerds as the "Numa Numa" song became famous for a chubby kid dancing to it on webcam in the early 2000s'. However the song itself is pretty catchy and therefore lends itself to becoming highly annoying. In Romanian.

The Chicken Dance (1950s') – Werner Thomas. Possibly the most well known polka song ever, the Chicken Dance was originally called "Der Ententanz" or "The Duck Dance" in it's native Switzerland. It's now the official song of Oktoberfest and bad wedding DJs the world over.

Mambo No. 5 (1999) - Lou Bega. While it definitely has a legitimate Mambo beat, there's only so many times you can listen to a man list his ahem...lady friends... before it's a bit annoying.

I'm a Gummy Bear (2007) - Gummibar. This song is in the same vein as Crazy Frog. Some people will dance to it, some people will cringe, and to some it will bring anger bubbling to the surface from a deep well they didn't know lived within them. It's really annoying.

Let It Go (2013) - Idina Menzel / Queen Elsa. This is actually a well written and produced song (It's no Tangled or Princess and the Frog, but..), with a okay feel good generic message. But every parent/grandparent/sibling with a female child in their life under the age of 18 has heard it approximately 5,281 times in the last three years.
