After being hospitalized, Edgar Mortiz, also known as 'Direk Bobot', is now doing well according his family. The director is now in recovery.
ABS-CBN’s executive Charo Santos-Concio's sister, and wife of the director, Millete Santos, was photographed lying on the hospital bed, next to her husband.
The photo was shared on Instagram by Camille Mortiz-Malapit on November 28, captioned, "nasa happy hearts club si tatay dodoy! thank you, Lord! nakakaiyak ka. salamat sa mga nagdasal para sa kanya."
Aside from the heartwarming photo with his wife, another photo was shared on Instagram where Mortiz was seen hugging his granddaughter.
