There is nothing much to be cheery for this driver this Christmas season, as tragedy fell on him yesterday, December 24.
A Facebook page, Aksyon Radyo Bacolod, reported the incident of a red Toyota Innova with the plate number FHB 688 which rammed through a fast food restaurant yesterday after the driver fell short on his way up from the underground Lopuez East Parking Area in Bacolod City.
Fortunately, no civilians were harmed during the unfortunate accident.
According to the driver of a car which was behind him, the owner of the Innova was hesitant on his way up and seemed tense while he was making his way to the ground floor. This was the reason for his loss of control.
A car was also hit by the free-falling car, but left the owner’s cake unharmed and still ready for the night’s festivities.
The post immediately got the attention of many netizens and got almost a thousand shares in a span of fewer than 24 hours.
People had mixed reactions as for the accident, with more netizens feeling bad that the driver of the Innova had to suffer such an unfortunate event on Christmas Eve.
