Exclusive - Fil-Am Loida Nicolas-Lewis Asks The President: 'Resign now President Duterte'

Filipino-American community leader Loida Nicolas-Lewis has asked President Rodrigo Duterte to resign after the president failed to solve the drug problem in the Philippines in 6 months.
Nicolas-Lewis was accused by Duterte of plotting to oust the Philippine president.
Finally after weeks of keeping her silence, the businesswoman clarifies that she has no intentions of inciting a coup.
In an interview with ABS-CBN she said: “No, President Duterte, I have not plotted against you in terms of coup d’etat, because I believe in the democratic process”
Nicolas-Lewis initially praised Duterte's sincerity in his fight against illegal drugs. However she has since changed her opinion after the increase of drug-related deaths in the country.
“I was impressed at his sincerity. Then I thought he was sincere, that, what keeps people poor in the Philippines is drugs, corruption and injustice. But now what do I see? He’s killing and killing and killing. I would say he is a murderer in that sense,” she said.
The community leader has since called on the president's promise: that he would solve the drug-trafficking epidemic in the Philippines within 6-months.
"...He should be true to that promise at least, no extension, resign now President Duterte,” she said.
Nicolas-Lewis' call for Duterte's resignation comes after Vice President Leni Robredo was allegedly eased out of the president’s cabinet. This was done supposedly to keep her in the dark about 'certain plans' by the cabinet.
She believes that Bongbong Marcos has plans of taking the Vice Presidency from Robredo and that somehow Duterte is involved.
“16 million who voted for Duterte did not vote for Bongbong Marcos. So be careful. So be careful. We should ask for the resignation of President Duterte now and not wait until Bongbong Marcos succeeds in his nefarious plan to unseat VP Leni Rodredo,”
“President Duterte wants Bongbong Marcos to be your president. Matakot kayo, matakot kayo, matapos na magnakaw, magiging silang ruling body again.” she said.
