The huge fire broke out at a home in Santa Rosa de Temuco, Chile after a car bomb went off.
The mother dog, a German Shepherd named Amanda, braved the flames that were consuming the house and carried her puppies in her mouth one by one. The fearless mother dog ran back and forth, making it out just in time to bring out all of her babies.
After all her hard and valiant work, Amanda, sat down next to them as if still protecting them and trying to keep them from being scared.
Amanda and her puppies were brought to a veterinary clinic where, unfortunately, one puppy named Amparo died because of severe burns.
The vet, Felipe Lara, told Soy Chile that Amanda was still defending her puppies when they tried to take them away from her to treat them.
Netizens were moved by the courageous canine, admiring the love that they can all relate to – one between mother and child.
