Exclusive - Former Senator Ramon ‘Bong’ Revilla, Jr. Appeals To Sandiganbayan to Let Him Visit His Sick Dad!

Former Senator Ramon 'Bong' Revilla, Jr. appealed to the Sandiganbayan to allow him to visit his father, who was recently admitted to the intensive care unit of St. Luke's Medical Center. He was diagnosed with 'severe sepsis secondary to pneumonia', a potentially lethal form of blood poisoning. He is now 89 years old. 

Bong submitted a three-page urgent motion asking to be allowed to visit his dad on either December 14, December 15, or December 16, in the afternoon. However, the court hasn't released any resolution as of now. He is currently detained after he was linked to the Pork Barrel Scam during President Noynoy Aquino's term. 

Lani Mercado, the current mayor of Bacoor City, was unable to hold her emotions during the Philippine Movie Press Club carolers' performance when they sang "Sana Ngayong Pasko" at the Bacoor Government Center. According to her, she was quite disappointed with how the Supreme Court junked the appeal for dismissal on the plunder cased which was filed against Bong. 

"Aaminin ko na may isang awitin kayo na naluha ako, oo,” She said, noting that she also feels worried about her father-in-law, Ramon. 

“Medyo naging critical siya noong Saturday e,” she added.
