Gary Valenciano seems to be very happy with the early Christmas gift he received!
The singer received his blessing last month as Samantha Godinez-Valenciano, wife of son Paolo, gave birth to a cute girl whom they named Leia.
“Siguro pwedeng wala nang magbigay sa akin ng regalo. Seriously, okay lang. I have a gift na… Leia for me is the only gift na okay na para sa akin,” Gary V said.
“It’s unbelievable that at my age now, even if mas matanda pa sa akin si Martin Nievera, ako 'yung meron. I guess I’m one of the very first in ‘ASAP’ na grandparent na kasi pati si Zsa Zsa, hindi pa eh. It’s unbelievable because I have the strength and the excitement to play with my granddaughter.”
The veteran singer also promised to stay fit and healthy so he could have more time with baby Leia.
“I am hoping na in five years now, I will come to you and I will say ‘Look at what I am doing now. Nakaka-swimming na kami, nakakatakbo na kami. We are still together.’ I will keep myself in shape for her."
