The Metro Manila Film Festival is one of the most awaited events of the holiday season. While this years festival had its own share of controversies, there is no doubt that the MMFF remains to be relevant to the Filipino movie-goers.
Here are the top grossers of this years's MMFF!
Star Cinema's Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2016 entry "Vince & Kath & James" is the Day 1 top grosser. This was confirmed by Eric John Salut, their AdProm manager for Publicity and Media Relations.
Another comedy film, "Die Beautiful", starring Paolo Ballesteros, is vying for the top spot.
Erik Matti's horror film "Seklusyon" and comedy movie "Ang Babae sa Septic Tank 2: #ForeverIsNotEnough" are included in the top 4.
Some of the other films include "Kabisera," "Oro," "Saving Sally," and "Sunday Beauty Queen."
