While most of us were with our families last Christmas Eve, President Rodrigo Duterte opted to go on with his annual tradition of visiting kids with cancer.

He started visiting kids at Southern Philippines Medical Center’s Children’s Cancer and Blood Diseases Unit (SPMC’s-CCBDU) and The House of Hope in Davao city when he was still mayor. Despite the busy schedule he has right now, he refused to skip the tradition and spent the whole Christmas eve in there. 

He gave gifts to the kids and took pictures with them to somehow lift up their spirits. Many netizens lauded the President for his actions. Despite the many controversies he is facing right now, this proves that a side of him will always remain positive.
