A sudden fuss in the online community is starting to emerge as two famous online personalities and famous Duterte supporters Mocha Uson and Sass Sasot fired shots at each other. Mocha allegedly hinted that Sass is a source of fake news.
A certain post on Mocha's page featuring De Lima's award was captioned: "Ito ang problema kapag one-sided and pagbabalita ng mainstream media. Ano kaya ngayon ang magiging reaksyon ng mga nag-imbita kay Senator De Lima para magspeech kung mapatunayan na siya ay protector ng mga drug lord?"
"Source: Sass Rogando Sasot," she added.
This post was perceived by many as a hit against Sass and an accusation that she was spreading false news.
Sass responded by saying she never spread news, only opinions regarding the news which can neither be classified as genuine or fake.
