Senator Dick Gordon has a message for Vice President Leni Robredo and any cabinet member who openly oppose President Rodrigo Duterte and his administration of the country.

That is, to simply drop the work and resign.

In a radio interview, Senator Gordon said, “Kung ikaw ay cabinet member you have to side with the president kung hindi mo na kaya na mag-side sa pangulo at ng prinsipyo mo, you resign.”

The Philippine Red Cross Chairman did not name anyone specifically in the interview. However, many people speculated that one of the people he was referring to was VP Leni.

VP Leni Robredo has been public about her opinions on the actions and moves of the Duterte administration, the latest of which was her oppositional views regarding the burial of former and late President Ferdinand Marcos Sr.

Senator Gordon told her that if they cannot handle the decisions of the President, then they should just resign.

“Kung talagang hindi nila ma take yun they should resign. Kung mate-take nila they should stay,” he said.

The said interview took place in a radio station last November 20.
