Exclusive - VACC On De Lima's Plan To Leave PH : 'It's Too Late. Nalaman Namin Na She's Leaving Tomorrow Evening'

The Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption (VACC) asked President Rodrigo Duterte's plan to hold Senator Leila De Lima in the country after realizing her plan to acquire am allow departure order (ADO) from the Department of Justice (DOJ).

"Nananawagan ako sa Presidente na i-revoke ang clearance na 'yan," VACC's legal counsel Gadon told.

Backed up by the VACC Chairman, Dante Jimenez added that the Senator needs to stay in the country due to the drug trafficking charges filed against her over her alleged role in the drug proliferation in the New Bilibid Prison.

Also, a disbarment case was filed against De Lima by the same group over her affair with Ronnie Dayan, her driver and bodyguard.

Gardon's plea to the President was due to De Lima's plans of travel this December. However, he has also found out that De Lima's scheduled trip will be this Sunday night on December 11, and is supposed to be back on December 22.

"It's too late. Nalaman namin na she's leaving tomorrow evening, it's Sunday, Wala na kaming magagawa."
