A video clip posted by ‘Now This’ showing a 14-year old student get shot by a police officer as he was threatening others with his two huge knives has gone viral.
The incident took place in Reno, Nevada and involved a furious student wielding two knives while threatening his fellow students. The police officers asked him to drop his weapon but he refused to comply. Moments later, the student fell to the ground as he was shot by one of the police officers.
According to the video, the student was given immediate medical attention after he was shot. The officer who shot him has been placed on paid administrative leave. Currently, the student is in critical condition.
The video caught the attention of netizens worldwide, garnering 14 million views and almost 59 thousand shares. The comments section of the post was filled with discussions about whether or not the police officer was in the right.
