Upon receiving the Gold Play Button, Star Music expressed their gratitude for having the best singers and composers in the country who all contributed to the award. The Gold Play Button is a limited-edition framed gold-plated play button which is given by Youtube to media channels who have reached 1 million subscribers.

One of the main contributors to this success is Yeng Constanstino, who garnered 5.2 million views in her original song, "Ikaw". With this, she was immediately compared to the pop princess who placed second on Youtube video views with her song "Paano nga ba ang Magmahal?" with Piolo Pascual.

Yeng reacted on the issue:

"Napaka-controversial naman niyan.

Sa akin po kasi, sa industriya, yung tulungan, doon ko po nakikita.

Maaaring sa ganitong oras ako po yung nandun, pero I always feel like puwedeng next month, iba naman and that’s okay.

Meanwhile, Yeng also expressed gratitude as she celebrated her 10th year in the industry after her sweeping victory in the reality singing show, Pinoy Dream Academy in 2006.

"Siguro po nag-start po ako sa malaking blessings yung longevity po, nag-stay po ako sa music industry.

 Isang dekada rin po ang nilakbay ko na never ko talagang maiisip na makakapagtagal ako ng ganito."

"I’m very, very privileged.

Saka ngayon po, meron ako para sa mga taga-suporta ko dahil nga 10 years na ako sa industry, gumawa po ako ng compilation ng Star Music ng mga songs ko in one album.

 So, they can listen to it sa Spotify at sa lahat ng mga record stores nationwide. Yeng 10 po ang title ng aking anniversary album.”
