But it is great news that there are numerous surgical and conventional methods that can solve this problem. If you want to skip the uncomfortable and expensive treatments at health care facility you can solve your problem in your own home. But this is possible only in the early phase when there are yet no signs of any complication.

How to remove an ingrown toenail without any surgery

At first, you need to make your nails and skin softer and to make that possible you need to prepare a hot bath.

You need to pour 3tbs of baking soda in around 5l of water where if you want you can put some salt. The water you will use shouldn’t go beyond 37oC. When the bath is completed you can pull out the nail that has ingrown in your skin.

You can also use a sticking plaster to apply it on the noticed ingrown toenail area and this action is going to ease the process as the toenail will become more accessible.

In order to raise the end of the nail, just place cotton in a small amount between the skin and the nail with tweezers. Before you place the cotton on the affected area apply some antibacterial cream like iodine. The time before you change the cotton and the wrapper is 24 hours. This technique needs to be done for 15 day and the nail must be back in the ordinary condition.

If you find hard to put the cotton between the skin and the nail, use a mixture of 1tbs of raw honey with 1 garlic clove(ground) or Aloe Vera on the area that is affected as this mixture(cream) has powerful antiseptic properties.

It is important to understand that the most important part of the method is the skin softening and to change the cotton that is used during the procedure, on a daily basis. When you’re finished with the procedure, just scrape the nail’s outer part.

Perform your pedicures on a regular basis in the future and if you find some infection on the pus and nail, consult your doctor.
