Exclusive - 27-Year Old Man Gets Bounty Put On His Head From His Girlfriend’s Father After He Beat Her Close To Death!

Filipinos have always had the values that taught us to respect women and treat them kindly. As kids, we were typically watched over by mothers, aunts, or grandmothers, which is why we hold women in such high regard. 

This lady’s boyfriend surely wasn’t raised with those morals.

20-year-old Chelsea Simmons, a young woman from Centralia in Kansas City, Missouri, was beaten to near-death by her own boyfriend, Cedric Powe (27), after they had an altercation. 

The 20-year lost her eyesight because of the vicious assault. Her father, on the brink of vengeful rage, took justice into his own hands by putting up a $500 bounty for the abusive boyfriend’s whereabouts.

“Apparently he choked her until she passed out, brought her back, then choked her again and continually stomped on her head,” said Simmons’ stepmother, Melissa Zack. “She's scared and she probably will be forever.”

Cedric, known to his friends as “Moe”, ran away from the police and made it to the south side of St. Louis, where he was eventually caught. He is now being held at the Marion County jail and has been charged with attempted first degree murder, aggravated battery and aggravated domestic battery.  

The bail was set at $500,000. He was later found guilty of the crime and was sentenced to 14 years in prison. 

Police did not disclose where exactly he was caught, but disclosed that he was also wanted at that time for theft.
