It seems as if singer April Boy Regino faces another devastating challenge.
After his retirement in show business due to prostate cancer, the singer recently lost his eyesight. An unfortunate event caused by diabetes which he was diagnosed with back in 2015.
"Wala na po akong ganang kumanta. Simula po nung nabulag ako eh, parang bang nawalan na ako ng pag-asa sa buhay ko, nawalan na ako ng ganang mabuhay, kaya hindi ko na inisip na kakanta pa uli ako," he admitted.
Fortunately with continuous medication, Regino's eyesight is slowly returning.
He had also started a resto bar business to keep him busy.
