It looks like former President Benigno Aquino's favorite color is really yellow-specifically golden yellow.

A memorandum from the Office of the Governor of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas is recently making the rounds online. The memorandum, Circulation 49, contains the agreement between the Philippines and Thailand's Centennial Energy Corporation, which permits the transfer of 3,500 metric tons of gold or 141-billion worth of gold bars with 99.999 purity to Thailand for humanitarian purposes.

This is in compliance with a prior agreement between the United States of America and Thailand.

The signatories were top Cabinet members such as former Department of Justice Secretary Leila De Lima former Department of Finance Secretary Cesar Purisima, former Senate President Franklin Drilon, former Governor of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Amando Tetangco, and former President Benigno Aquino Jr.

The suspicious circulation which was first seen in social media circles prompted Rogelio Cantoria and lawyer Fernando Perito, to file corruption, plunder and graft charges against the said officials.

Netizens are enraged with the "shady transaction" and are pushing for these officials to face the death penalty.
