With Mocha Uson’s recent appointment as a member of the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB), she immediately announced her aim to prohibit the showing of ‘soft porn’ on television. This immediately caught the attention of many celebrities, especially those who portray a sexy image.
Arci Muñoz and Ejay Falcon shared their reactions during a blogcon on January 6 regarding Mocha’s proposal.
"Talaga?" Arci exclaimed.
Ejay immediately quipped “Baka mawalan ako ng trabaho!", which drew laughter from the audience.
Both of them portrayed sensual characters in the Mexican drama remake ‘Pasion de Amor’ and both starred in ‘Extra Service’, a sexy-action movie currently showing in Philippine cinemas.
"Well if it's really needed and ako naman, kung wala naman talagang bastos na pinoproject yung movie, then I think they know naman what they're doing. Siyempre, ipagkakatiwala namin sa kanila. Pero kami, siyempre hangga't hinihingi na talaga ng eksena o pagkakataon, gagawin namin. May limitasyon lang lahat ng bagay." Arci said.
"Suportahan na lang natin siya, or sila. Kasi matatalino naman yung mga taga-production at saka yung mga manunuod natin so alam na nila yun." Ejay added.
When asked about how ‘Pasion de Amor’ and ‘Extra Service’ are different from each other, Arci explained:
"It's very different, e, kasi eventually yung Pasion, yung story niya nag-evolve ng family values na. Umpisa parang ganon [na sexy], pero dito kasi, it's a sexy-action-comedy so ibang-iba talaga siya sa Pasion na heavy drama. Ito, action and it's just really fun to do something different. Kasi for me, it's my first time to do an action movie. Peg ko, Jackie Chan agad, e! Masaya siya kasi hindi siya yung sensual, e. It's sexy but yet adventure and comedy and action at the same time. Nakita niyo ba yung costume namin? J. Lo! Nicki Minaj! Kardashian!"
‘Extra Service’, directed by Chris Martinez, is rated 'PG' by the MTRCB. Arci was very happy with the verdict and explained:
"Sexy kasi sexy ang mga costumes. Tinatanong ko palagi, meron bang superhero na hindi sexy yung costume? It’s a spy film. Siguro pag naka-loose siya, hindi siya makagalaw! Mostly sa costumes yung sexiness pero walang sensual or everything. It's wholesome."
