Exclusive - A Horrific 'Alien-Looking' Baby Born in India! Her Traumatized Mother Now Refuses to Breastfeed Her!

The socia media community was terrified when the story of an 'alien-looking' baby broke out recently.

In Patna district of Bihar, Eastern India, a baby girl with an extraordinary condition was born to a 28-year-old mother who refused to reveal her identity. The child suffered from a disease called 'Harlequin Ichthyosis' wherein her genetic features affected her skin's formation.

Because of the severe trauma brought by the child, her mother described her as a curse and even called her an 'alien'. The child's severe deformity was mainly caused by her skin's bizarre condition. Because of her appearance, the child's parents were only forced to bring her home as they did not want to accept her. But because of the lack of choices, they resorted to letting the child stay with them. However, the mother refused to even hold her and breastfeed her.

"I have no idea how did this happen. My family and I are completely devastated. I am in shock as I was really looking forward to becoming a mother of a healthy child, be it a girl or boy,' the mother said.

According to several reports from buzznigeria.com, mirror.co.uk and viral4real.com, the little girl's story went immediately viral as people flocked outside the government-owned hospital in India where the baby was born. All of them were eager to see the baby hours after the news broke. The hospital's administration and officials were forced to drive the curious people away before the situation gets out of hand.

Same reports from these sources also claimed that the doctors proved that the baby is suffering from a genetic disorder known as Harlequin Ichthyosis. According to emedicine.medscape.com, this rare condition affects the infants' genes causing them to be born with very thick and hard skin that resembles a shell. Patients of this disorder have their faces and bodies deformed. This fatal condition only lets one out of 10 million babies to survive.

A video of the baby was also posted on Facebook by user Rajesh Kumar.
