There is nothing more depressing than a parent losing a child, especially if it happened in an accident due to neglect and lack of attention.
It was a normal day for the Dodd family. They were going on a trip, and since 11-week old Sheperd Dodd is with them, they put him in a car seat to make sure that he is comfortable.
They hired a daycare helper to help them out in monitoring the baby. Unfortunately, the toddler was not properly strapped into the car seat. He was positioned improperly which resulted to breathing blockage and eventually an untimely death.
Sheperd was rushed to the hospital and was declared dead due to positional asphyxiation.
What happened is a clear reminder that a baby needs to be monitored at all times.
