Exclusive - Meg Imperial Shares She Dated JM De Guzman Before. 'I'm always there for him to support him'

Meg Imperial finally shared that she dated actor JM De Guzman in the past, confirming the rumors. According to her, it was before JM got back together with Jessy Mendiola. They dated for a month and figured that they wouldn't be able to work things out.
Recently, JM de Guzman made a major comeback in the industry, to which Meg said that she is happy for the actor.
“Ako naman kasi, everyone knows naman what happened to us… never akong nagkaroon ng sama ng loob sa kanya. I’m always there for him, to support him, na maka-recover.
“Kasi I want to be that friend na of all the friends na nakapaligid sa kanya na into this kind of ano, na kung baga, nasu-suffocate na siguro siya, I want to be that kind na nandu’n to support him,” she said, noting that she constantly checked on him while de Guzman was in the rehabilitation center through his father.
“Nangangamusta, ganyan, like a friend, and nagre-respond naman na ‘he’s doing good,’”she added.
Asked if JM would has another chance on her if he ever decides to pursue her again, the actress answered: “Tingnan po natin kung ano, kasi ayoko namang sabihin na dahil nagbabalik siya, eh, ia-allow ko na lang. Siyempre, mayroon pa rin tayong binabasehan na is he good for me or am I good for him as well? Magki-click ba talaga kami or baka naman madala lang kami ng tukso sa paligid namin,”
But when asked if she is willing to work with the actor, she answered "Oo naman. Walang problema sa akin."
Meanwhile, Imperial stars at the forthcoming movie, Swipe which is set to premiere on February 1. Her role was kind of daring but she clarified that she sets her limitations when it comes to such roles and said: “Wala naman akong ipinakitang anything (in the past), hanggang doon lang ako sa ano, as long as… Lagi kong sinasabi, may lalim ‘yung story ng film, and kailangan naman talaga. Hindi naman ‘yung basta ‘magpa-sexy ka riyan para lang ma-attract ‘yung tao, no. Kinailagan talaga du’n sa story so why not do it naman kung para sa story.”
The movie also stars other big-time celebrities such as Luis Alandy, Alex Medina, Ma. Isabel Lopez, Gabby Eigenmann, and Mercedes Cabral.
