Exclusive - Mom Was Shocked When She Found This Inside Her Baby’s Nose! You Will Not Believe What Caused It!

In an effort to put some ambiance in her New Jersey home, Meghan Budden lit two scented candles in her apartment and let it sit for a few hours. 

What she didn’t know is that there are dangers in letting two scented candles burn at the same time.

In an interview with CBS New York, Budden told a reporter that she discovered blacks specks inside her nose, as well as her infant son's. 

After she put the pieces together, Meghan checked the label of the scented candles and found a warning against burning two scented candles at the same time for many hours.

Dr. Lisa Liberatore, an ear nose and throat specialist, told CBS that many people have consulted with her about the same problem. According to her, patients typically come in and are unaware of the root of the problem. 

"I usually go through a checklist of different things," she explains. "Inevitably, this time of year, it's yes ... we're burning candles."

To help reduce the amount of soot a candle will release into the air, experts recommend trimming the wick frequently and avoiding burning for long periods of time.

Breathing tiny particles that come out of these scented candles is like breathing in cancer-inducing molecules called formaldehyde. 

If Meghan kept on burning the candles the way she did, she would have been putting her life and her son’s life at risk.
