It seems like Mayor Herbert Bautista isn't the only one receiving attention in the family – as the Quezon City mayor's son is getting a lot of buzz online thanks to his cute, fresh-faced look.
Herbert’s son Harvey appeared on ABS-CBN's gag show 'Going Bulilit' from 2011 to 2016.
When asked if he wanted his son to enter the showbiz industry, the mayor replied "A, yeah, I discouraged him. Pero wala, e, nasa dugo. Tatay ko, nanay ko, mga kapatid ko. Tapos heto, sila na."
Herbert also revealed that his all of his children wanted to be directors, including Harvey. He stated that the influence of showbiz is more powerful to them compared to politics.
Apart from 'Going Bulilit,' Harvey has also appeared in 'Wansapanatym' in 2010, 'Fourth World' in 2015, and in 'Maalaala Mo Kaya' in 1991, according to his IMDb page.
He will appear in the upcoming horror movie directed by Dan Villegas, 'Ilawod,' alongside Ian Veneracion, Iza Calzado, and Xyriel Manabat, according to the movie's official Facebook page.
Harvey is Herbert's son with former partner Tates Gana. According to Herbert, "Ako naman, I [also] discouraged them to go into politics. Okay to serve, pero not to be politicians."
"That would be their decisions in the future," he continued. But he also said that if his children wanted to enter politics, then he couldn’t do anything about it.
"The most important thing is to, number one is to serve; and the second one is to protect the name of the family," Herbert said.
