Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz will have a new movie this 2017, as reported by PEP. Star Cinema staff member James Banaag posted a picture of the actress beside a standee of John Lloyd.
He captioned his January 7 Twitter post with "Soon."
Fellow Kapamilya actress Loisa Andalio replied, asking "Totoo ba?" to which the staff member answered "Yes. THIS YEAR!"
Sarah and John Lloyd initially worked together in an episode of "Maalaala Mo Kaya" back in 2006. The episode was entitled "Kwintas."
In 2008, Star Cinema released a romantic comedy titled "A Very Special Love," which immediately became a box-office hit which earned 179.5 million pesos in its entire run.
They portrayed the memorable characters of Laida Magtalas and Miggy Montenegro.
In 2009, a sequel called "You Changed My Life" was released, followed by "It Takes A Man and A Woman" in 2013. Both were able to reach a 200-million pesos mark in the box office.
It's not yet confirmed if the new movie will be the fourth installment in their series, or a new one by Star Cinema altogether.
