Exclusive - Rachelle Ann Go Will Star in the Tony-Award Winning Musical Hamilton!

Filipinos are not only known for their hospitality but also for their talent. It seems like another Filipina is about to make waves abroad, making her home country proud.

Rachelle Ann Go was the winner of the reality talent show Search for a Star in 2004 and, since then, her fame has gone from local to international. 

Just like the Philippines' very own Lea Salonga, Rachelle Ann has also left her mark on Broadway shows. 

According to Inquirer.net, Rachelle Ann had a chance to play the role of Gigi, one of the lead roles in ‘Miss Saigon’, in 2014. The following year, she finally got the role that she’s always wanted when she portrayed Fantine in 'Les Miserables'.

Now, another great opportunity was given to the Filipina singer/actress as she is set to portray Elizabeth Hamilton in the Tony-award winning Broadway musical Hamilton.

West End productions will hold the show at the Victoria Palace Theater in London in November 2017.

Broadway.com disclosed that Rachelle Ann got the role. The story was confirmed by The Daily Mail's entertainment columnist Baz Bamigboye who posted a photo of Rachelle Ann on Twitter saying that she got the role of Elizabeth Hamilton.

Way to go Rachelle Ann!
