Exclusive - Super Tekla Turns Emotional As He Celebrates First Birthday In Wowowin!

Stand-up comedian Super Tekla was overwhelmed with emotions on his first birthday celebration in the afternoon variety game show, Wowowin.

The comedian wasn't able to help himself as he turned emotional. In a short message, he expressed his gratitude for the people behind his newfound success.

"Of course, Ariella, Kimchi, and [DJ JL]. And of course, Direk Randy na sobrang nahirapan sa akin sa sobrang likot ko kuhanan ng anggulo. Thank you, direk. Direk Ruel, thank you. Thank you so much. Everyone, sa lahat ng staff mula sa crew."

"Ramdam ko na yung pamilya ko dito, as in," the comedian gushed.

"Mag-isa lang po ako sa bahay pero pagdating dito parang sobrang saya. Hindi mo iniisip uuwi kasi ‘yung bonding namin sobra as in family. Si Kuya [Wil], parang kuya na rin namin. Pagka trabaho, trabaho talaga. Pagka biruan, biruan. Thank you so much, Boss Wil," he added.

As for his tandem Donita Nose, the comedian said also gave a short but heartfelt message.

"Te, thank you, thank you so much. Kumbaga, saan man ako makarating, thank you. I love you. Salamat, thank you."

Furthermore, he did not forget to give a shoutout to one of the most important people in his life-- his son.

"Anak, birthday ng daddy. Pasensya, busy si daddy ha. Basta, magkikita tayo 'pag hihinto na ‘yung birthday ko (laughs). Hindi. Love you anak. I love you, I love you so much."

Due to his amazing skill in making people laugh, Kuya Wil made him a regular on the show in September of 2016.
