Geneva Delariarte Mopal shared a story on Facebook about a poser who impersonated her. This poser used Geneva’s photos to ‘catfish’ an unsuspecting guy named Manuel Canada into falling in love.

Geneva found out about this case of stolen identity when she received a message from a girl who asked her if she knew who Manuel was. She replied that she doesn’t anyone by that name. The girl then told Geneva that Manuel claims to be Geneva’s boyfriend of two years.

Geneva was shocked. She said she hasn’t had a boyfriend in quite a while. She decided to talk to Manuel and get his side of the story.

Manuel was so happy to finally meet the real person behind the photos that he was in love with that he cried tears of joy. Geneva and Manuel started talking all the time, which led to them eventually falling in love.
