“Nakaka pressure ang mga tanong niyo po,” Julia Montes told Boy Abunda on Tonight With Boy Abunda. 

In the episode which aired last Wednesday, Julia answered a lot of questions. One of which was about her rumored boyfriend, Coco Martin.

In one segment, Tito Boy would ask his guest a question that came from one of their followers on social networking sites. He first asked about what gift Julia received from Coco. “Friendship” was all she answered and it seemed to convince the veteran TV host.

When Julia was asked if she had any “friendship” troubles with the Ang Probinsyano star, Coco Martin, Julia said: “Wala po. Actually, masasabi ko po talaga strong yung friendship namin, hindi siya yung pwedeng dapat magkaroon ng misunderstanding… way, way back yung friendship namin masasabi ko talagang sobrang strong ng foundation.” She made it clear that her and Coco are just good friends at best.

Rumors of their relationship grew after they were spotted together at an awards show last December 2016. During the Anak TV Awards, it was seen that they were sitting beside each other, but barely talked to each other.

Julia recently came home from a vacation that she spent with her biological father, German national Martin Schnittka, whom she just reconnected with. Born as Mara Schnittka, Julia said that she was emotional during the reunion and that Martin apologized for leaving her at such a young age.
