Exclusive - UNBELIEVABLE: Fil-Am Millionaire Sold His Company for $54 Million and Then Did This for His Family!

25-year-old Filipino businessman Garrett Gee was able to fulfil his life-long dream for his family after selling his start-up company to Snapchat in 2014.

His mobile scanning app was bought for $54 million. After the deal, Garrett and his 29-year-old wife Jessica were able to live the dream as they travelled around the globe with their two children, 3-year-old Dorsey and 1-year-old Manilla.

They also sold their belongings such as cars, furniture and clothing in order to fund their amazing adventures.

They have so far visited Thailand, Australia, Hawaii, Tahiti and even a few exotic places such as the Turks and Caicos Islands.

It has been more than a year since the family from Utah, USA decided to ditch the traditional lifestyle to explore the world.

Even better is that the money Garrett sold from the huge deal remained untouched within the first nine months of their travels as they lived off the $45,000 they earned by selling some of their other assets.

According to a statement Garrett gave to People magazine, they had to make the most out of their youth until they were ready to settle down.

"A new house and cars didn’t feel right," he shared.

"We didn’t need that stuff. We were young, healthy and really didn’t need much of anything. So we started joking about putting our money in savings, selling everything and using those funds to travel the world. Where would we go? What would we do? And as we began to add more plans to our bucket list, it just became real."

"We will travel until that runs out," he added.

Garrett also mentioned that if his "entrepreneurial skills" could be used in order to earn more for their travels then the adventures could continue indefinitely.

"We will see how long it lasts. Perhaps some of my entrepreneurial skills will come into play and I’ll figure out a way to make that money stretch further and further. Or, if I’m really good, $45K will give me enough time to make our travels fuel themselves, or better yet, profitable. Anything is possible, right? Just keep intentions pure and attitudes positive." He said.
