Bullying creates a big impact in people's lives. While bullies have their own story as to why they need to feel dominant, bullied kids develop a rather shy and awkward personality that drives them away from the rest of the world.
Ashley Wastakiewicz knows this very well. She has been bullied consistently by an 11-year-old boy; so much so that the young girl refuses to go out to play.
“She has felt that nobody loves her, nobody cares about her. She feels alone. She is afraid to come outside to play. She has been cooped up most of the summer because she is afraid to come out and play with the fear of being bullied,” her mom said.
The bullying worsened over time, even resulting in one instance where she had to be rushed to the hospital.
“She was pushing her bike home and the bully had pushed her to the ground, had kicked her and had punched her in her face,” her mom shared.
With this, her mom decided to create an anti-bullying page which she named as "Justice For Ashley". She even posted a video of Ashley in which she was said:
“My name is Ashley and I’m 7 years old. I am a victim of bullying by an 11-year-old boy. It hurts me very much. Please, stop bullying.”
Surprisingly, they got the attention of the American Veterans Motorcycle Club, a group of local bikers.
“We got word from other brothers at other clubs and we all met,” says James Dingmon, one of the members.“I don’t believe in bullying. Nobody should be bullied.”he added.
They then decided to gather around Ashley's home to let her know that she isn't alone. “We wanted a show of force, she is loved and she’s got people out here that care for her,” said Dingmon.
