When Daytime Princess Xia Vigor entered the Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids' Stage, even the judges found it hard to recognize her. It seems that her transformation from a cute little girl to a fierce American pop-star icon was a little too convincing, but it was for the good!
Xia Vigor's performance wowed the audience as she sang Taylor Swift's hit song "You Belong With Me" on Sunday, January 15. The judges were also stunned withe her impersonation.
"Parang sinapian ka ni Taylor tapos lumiit siya," Judge and Mega Star Sharon Cuneta said as she was giving her comment to Xia. Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano even called Xia 'charming'.
"The meaning of 'Charming' is Xia. Excellent excellent performance and I hope na makita namin na nag-eenjoy ka pa rin sa mga darating na linggo."
The last judge, Ogie Alcasid, even used a pun, "Xia, sa tagalog siguro talagang ka-xia-xia (kasiya-siya) kang panoorin."
Xia took the 5th place at the weekly rankings after receiving 15 points from the judges together with Alonzo Muhlach who performed as Rico J. Puno.
