Recently, comedian Dennis Padilla earned praise from netizens after he posted a picture with his daughter Julia on his Instagram account on January 31.

He captioned the photo simply but their faces told a deeper story.

Netizens, particularly the actress' fans, were happy that the two are finally getting along after their controversial conflict in early 2016. Julia wanted to legally change her surname from Baldivia - Dennis' real surname - to Barretto.

In a previous interview during the press conference of MMFF entry 'Vince & Kath & James' starring Julia Barretto, she shared:

"Everything is so much better than it was before. Baby steps talaga 'yan. He's still my father at the end of the day, siyempre mahal ko pa rin yung tatay ko.”

Dennis was also able to bond with his other kids with actress Marjorie Barretto, even posting a few pictures of them together on Instagram. He met with Julia, Claui and Leon and posted their picture together on Instagram:

After a few days, he once again met with Leon.

Netizens seemed very happy for Dennis as the post has already garnered about 5.5 thousand reactions as of this writing.
