Exclusive - Check Out This Old Man Who Uses His ‘Padyak’ to Bring His Paralyzed Wife From Quiapo to Mindoro! UNBELIEVABLE!

Imagine being a biker going on your daily route when, suddenly, you encounter an old couple along the way. They are resting but both of them look like they need your help. The old woman, in fact, appears sick and you could even see a wheelchair nearby. 

This is exactly what Khelvin Federigan encountered when he was traversing the road in General Mariano Alvarez, Cavite. Definitely Filipino reported that Federigan saw Alfred Calderon and his wife Emilia, who were both suffering in their ‘padyak,’ a local term for a pedicab. 

Federigan learned that both of them were supposed to go to their home in Occidental Mindoro, but the lack of financial resources forced them to use the ‘padyak’ to get there. Calderon said that Emilia had a stroke and he brought her to Quiapo presumably to get her healed. 

The biker also said that the couple was planning to go to Batangas port even if they lacked the money for the boat fare. He posted their situation on social media and soon after, people were able to offer their aid to the old couple.

The concerned netizens were mostly comprised of cyclists and one group actually ventured to Cavite, where they found Alfred and Emilia in Carmona. The group immediately offered them money and then helped carry their ‘padyak’ on a truck that was bound for Cabuyao, Laguna. 

Another group of cyclists was waiting for them in Laguna. The cyclists also decided that they would help bring the couple to a doctor in Batangas and have them checked out. 

Their plan was for all of them to embark on a journey to Occidental Mindoro, accompanying the couple to help them reach their home.
