Exclusive - Engaged Couple Kylie Padilla and Aljur Abrenica Finally Revealed The Gender Of Their Baby! Is It A Boy or A Girl?

It was on January 24 when news reports confirmed that GMA actors Aljur Abrenica and Kylie Padilla were engaged, following the unexpected announcement of the latter’s pregnancy. 

Fans and the general public were quick to assume that the couple only got engaged because Kylie got pregnant—- a rather unconventional move in our society that values marriage before giving birth or the act of conception. 

However, Aljur and Kylie were also quick to reiterate that it was their second engagement and in fact, the first one happened when they were on a trip to Japan back on October 2016. 

PEP reported that Aljur confirmed a first engagement took place by saying: “Ang engagement, nangyari before pa na nagkaroon ng mga rumors about the pregnancy.” He said that they were in Tokyo Disney Sea when he suddenly decided to proposed to Kylie. 

Kylie even mentioned that she initially thought it was a joke, but said “yes” to him either way. The couple went back to the Philippines in November 2016 and by then, a second proposal took place. 

Aljur mentioned that he felt it was time to propose to Kylie once again because they were living in the same roof at that time and according to him, was able to see just how much compatible they were. 

He presented her a makeshift ring, which the actress was able to post in her Instagram account. Aljur said, “And then, sabi ko, tulad ng ibang babae, gusto ko namang maging proud si Kylie. May ipinagmamalaki silang singsing.” 

Fast forward to a few months after and the actress was quick to report that their first child is a boy.
