Guys can be persistent and PBA player Rodney Brondial is proof of that.
On July 6, 2015, Caryl Adriatico received a chat message from Brondial, a guy she barely knew, asking if they could be friends. Rightly suspicious, Adriatico refused.
Months passed but Brondial remained persistent as he constantly left messages despite her refusal to reply to each one. Even after the woman revealed that she was already dating someone else, Brondial's persistence did not waver.
As the saying goes, 'pag may tiyaga, may nilaga'. A mantra Brondial took to heart.
This love story did not begin smoothly, nor is it conventional. But due to his persistence and her acceptance, their story happened.
Now, the two are celebrating their first anniversary together!
